THE CASE ON CIONTEMPT OF THE COURT WAS FINALLY HEARD AND CLOSED.
In order to implement the order of SC dated 04th Sep 2012 On Rank Pay Case in letter and spirit, UOI has to comply with seven issues/points. By issuing the letter dated 24th July 2014 they have addressed only 1.5 points. Two main issues are;-

(a) Change of
integrated scale, 4th CPC. (Minima and top of the table have to be
changed)
(b) Change of
scales of 5th CPC.
"Contempt
Petition" (No. 328 of 2013) which came up for hearing on 17 AUG 2015, in court has been disposed, the court has not accepted revision of pay scales.
RDOA is covering all issues to the best of their understanding and we must "HAVE PATIENCE" and FAITH in RDOA.

RANK PAY CASE -
1. MOD Issued second letter amending the earlier one based on the advice of the Attorney
general before the contempt case came for hearing in the Supreme Court. This letter partly addresses the anomalies in the earlier letter however what still remains to be addressed is entry level salaries of each rank as also the maximum salaries of each rank so that on promotion to
higher rank the officers pay is fixed with in the scales of pay at each rank. READ THE GOI LETTER.

directions given by the Hon'ble Supreme Court on 31 Mar 2014 to implead the
present Defence Secretary and the CGDA in the Contempt Petition; RDOA has filed
the Impleadment Application
on 17 April 2014. The impleadment application is a detailed application and all issues have been added including a recent development in which CGDA has issued instructions to CDA(AF) to restrict payment of interest to the affected officers till 31 May 13.

The case came up for hearing today ie 31 Mar 2014 in the Court of
Justice RM Lodha. After hearing the Solicitor General, the Court exempted the
Contemnors (Ex Def Secy and present CAG, CGDA since promoted to Def Fin, Ex Secy
Def Fin, and ex Secy Expenditure since both retd) from personal
appearance.
The Court directed the petitioners (RDOA) to file application
for impleadment of present Def Secy and CGDA within two weeks.
