I run a transit camp. My residence & the transit camp officer's mess are barely five feet apart. Nevertheless, I always make it a point to dress up & visit the mess for all three meals, daily. I never order food into my room. In fact I never order food into my room anywhere, even in a hotel. The reasons are many.

Well, the answer is quite simple. But before we attempt to answer that, we must know the meaning of the term Spirituality and Being Spiritual.

This again is very simple. What we have been doing is to confuse spirituality with religion and rituals. We think that everything that resembles religion may also be connected to Spirituality. Well, friends, Spirituality includes religion but religion does not encapsulate Spirituality. I will explain.

This might be the oddest and longest opinion piece I have penned, and therefore it is in two parts, albeit being published simultaneously. And again, like many times before, I must forewarn that this is written to encourage discussion and introspection, not to cause commotion, disparage any entity, or to provide leverage to pessimistic sentiment.
In the late 1990s/early 2000s, as per the then existing roster of the Punjab & Haryana High Court, litigation related to service matters of the Union of India was being allotted to Justice RL Anand, a strong but humane and sensitive judge.

     The Shivir was over on 01 Apr 2019 and we all the participants numbering over 110 returned to our routines back home. It was a very well conducted and organised Shivir. 

   One now knows how big Patanjali is not only in its layout but the work it has taken on.

We will now look for the next shivir.

CONCORDANCE TABLES - MIL PERS - OCT 2018

Mod HAS FINALLY ISSUED THE CONCORDANCE TABLES FOR UNIFORMED MILITARY PERS TO WORK OUR THE PENSION FIXATION BY ADOPTING THE NOTIONAL METHOD.

     MoD letter dated 17 Oct 2018 lays out the Concordance Tables running into 217 pages. the letter is available in this post and may be downloaded from here    The tables cover all ranks and categories of Army, Navy and Air Force, giving scales in Chart Form for 5th 6th and 7th CPCs.

नौकरशाही (BABUDOM) की जिम्मेवारी तय करना

देश में  अव्यवस्था तथा अपराधों के लिए शासन तंत्र को चलाने वाली नौकरशाही की जिम्मेवारी तय करना                            कर्नल शिवदान सिंह

 देश में दिन प्रतिदिन बढ़ते   महिला अपराधों जैसे मुजफ्फरपुर देवरिया गोरखपुर तथा हरियाणा के फतेहाबाद इत्यादि तथा विकास योजनाओं तथा प्राधिकरणों में होते  करोड़ों रुपयों के घोटाले  यह बताने के लिए काफी हैकी कार्यपालिका को चलाने वाली नौकरशाही में काफी घुन लग गया है ! अंग्रेज लार्ड कार्नवालिस ने भारत में नौकरशाही को शासन का स्टील फ्रेम कहा था और उसके बाद नौकरशाही को स्टील  फ्रेम नाम से पुकारा जाने लगा ! परंतु हो रहे तरह तरह के अपराध तथा घोटाले  दर्शाते हैं कि लार्ड कार्नवालिस की आशाओं पर भारतीय नौकरशाही अपने भ्रष्टाचार, कर्तव्यहीनता तथा उदासीनता के कारण खरी नहीं उतर रही है ! विकास की योजनाएं तथा विकास प्राधिकरण नौकरशाहों द्वारा धन कमाने के अड्डे बन गए हैं  जैसे कि नोएडा,  ग्रेटर नोएडा तथा यमुना विकास प्राधिकरण मैं तरह-तरह के भ्रष्टाचार तथा घोटाले  दिखाई देते हैं !  इसका प्रदर्शन अभी अभी येडा के  भूतपूर्व के  अधिकारी  पीसी गुप्ता ने सरकार की बिना अनुमति 126 करोड़ की जमीन खरीद कर स्वयं तथा अपने चहेतों को इसका फायदा पहुंचाया !

NOTIONAL METHOD OF PAY FIXATION FOR MIL PERS - 7 CPC

Thanks to Air Marshal SY Savur, who has been able to extract the much needed Concordance Tables under issue by the MoD for Notional Fixation of Pay for the purpose of pension.

These tables have to be based on the Concordance tables issued by the Department of Pension and Pensioner's welfare under Ministry of Pers and Trg (DOP&;PW).
